Aegis Business Technologies Spotlights 12 Not-for-Profits

Aegis TeamFor all of 2018, Aegis Business Technologies has spotlighted 12 not-for-profits in North Florida, one each month, showcasing the outstanding work that each one does in our community. We have called this mission #Aegis1812. Why the name #Aegis1812? The War of 1812 was followed by a glowing period of national pride in our young country, the Star Spangle Banner was penned by Frances Scott Key among other noteworthy items all featured in the book, Andrew Jackson and the miracle of New Orleans by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger. And because it’s 2018, and 12 months.

Each month on social media and in our news-letter we have shared stories, events, and authentic engagements with the people behind the scenes of these great organizations. We have had the honor and privilege to feature: Lighthouse of the Big Bend, Elder Care Services, Habitat for Humanity, Lee’s Place, Tree House, Tallahassee Museum, Aging with Dignity, Refuge House, TMH, TCC Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Tallahassee Senior Center and Foundation.

“To have a small part in the noble missions of these various entities makes the work day all the better and hopefully when it’s all said and done, we will have made a difference in some way by helping push forward their messages” says Aegis CEO, Blake Dowling.
