We are saddened to share the news with you that Florida Retail Federation's VP of Operations & Board Liaison, Elaine Mann Carpenter, CAE passed away Wednesday, April 27. Elaine recently celebrated her 30th year of employment at FRF last March, and served their members and the board with unparalleled professionalism and dedication.
“Our FRF family lost an incredible person with the passing of Elaine Mann Carpenter,” said FRF Chair Dan Doyle. “Elaine was instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our organization for three decades, and someone whose historical knowledge of FRF was only surpassed by her love of life, family and friends. Elaine will be impossible to replace and our thoughts and prayers go out to her husband Kevin and her family during this difficult time.”
“Words cannot express how heartbroken we are over the loss of our FRF family member Elaine Mann Carpenter,” said FRF President/CEO Randy Miller. “Elaine’s laughter would fill the halls in our office, and her warmth and friendship meant the world to all of us that worked with her each day. This is a truly sad day for our organization, and we will focus our love and support on her husband Kevin and her family as they cope with this devastating loss.”
Those of you who worked with Elaine over the years know what a tremendous human being she was and how much she cared for this organization and its members. Elaine is survived by her husband Kevin, and her children Lyle, Becca and Scenia and grandson Ansel.
