FSAE is partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs to gather needed personal items and supplies for homeless veterans as part of the Education Expo Tradeshow Lunch. Attendees will be able to pick up backpacks to fill while visiting our participating exhibitors who are generously donating items to the cause.

As attendees enter the Education Expo Tradeshow Luncheon, backpacks will be available to fill with needed items by visiting each exhibitor. Exhibitors will have one or more of the following items at their tables. As attendees leave the Tradeshow, backpacks will be collected for delivery to homeless veterans in the local Tallahassee area.
We are asking exhibitors to participate in our community outreach project by bringing 75 of one or more of the items below to fill the backpacks for homeless vets.
Items for Backpacks:
- Personal Hygiene items (personal size or travel size) for men and women
- Toothbrush, toothpaste, Chapstick
- wipes, bar soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer
- shampoo, conditioner, comb, brush
- lotion, tissues, shaving cream, disposable razors
- New Socks / Underwear / T-Shirts – all adult sizes for men and women
- Bug Spray
- Flashlights / Batteries
- Gloves
Optional donations - Larger items needed (separate from backpacks):
- Ponchos
- Towels / Washcloths
- Linens – Sheets / Pillowcases / Pillows
- TracFone airtime card for SafeLink phones
- Tents / Tarps
- Sleeping Bags
- Coats/Jackets
