On June 9, 2016, the South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association’s Board of Directors voted Interim President Jaime Caldwell, ACHE as President of the Association. Caldwell served as the Association’s Vice President for more than seven years and as its Interim President since December 2015. His 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry includes health care regulation through the Florida Department of Health, management of a multi-state emergency medical transportation company, and health care policy analysis with the Association.
As President, Caldwell brings a new vision and strategic plan to the SFHHA that will focus on improving the efficient delivery of quality healthcare services to our communities by championing collaboration and communication among leaders across the healthcare continuum. This is to be accomplished by bringing together the stakeholders who impact, influence, and affect the delivery of healthcare to shape direction, solve problems, and offer sound advice.
