Dear FSAE Members,

I have some exciting news I want to share with you. Two great organizations will soon become one. TSAE and FSAE are planning to join forces at the end of this year!

Earlier this year, leadership from both groups began a dialogue about leveraging the collective strengths of TSAE and FSAE. They appointed a small task force to explore the benefits and drawbacks of uniting. As a result, both groups agreed that benefits of a combined state's association community were too great to pass up!

The unified organization will offer a full continuum of services in Tallahassee and around the state. It will better allow best practices in association management to be leveraged statewide. Members will have much to gain - more networking, more resources, and more education. I hope you are as excited as I am that this uniting will allow you to have one organization to serve you for your entire association career. This will also eliminate the recurring confusion about the two groups for the general public, sponsors and vendors.

The mutual respect that these two organizations have for each other is making the transition a smooth one. The goal is to have the relationship finalized and operational by January 1, 2015.
