FL Head Start Assn Names Wanda Minick New Executive Director

  
Wanda_Minick_Pic.jpgIn March 2017, The Florida Head Start Association (FHSA) Board of Directors announced that Wanda Minick has been named as Executive Director. “Mrs. Minick is sure to provide FHSA remarkable guidance and success," said FHSA President Louis Finney, Jr. "FHSA needs a leader with a vision to move the association forward. The board has great confidence Wanda will develop meaningful relationships with FHSA members and our partners with the highest integrity. She is a leader who will ensure our mission to serve and advocate for Florida Head Start children and families will continue to prosper."

Wanda’s resume includes over 20 years’ experience in sales and marketing. She has more than 12 years’ experience in the association sector, organizational operations, member services and event management. She previously served as the Deputy Executive Director and Director of Member Services with The Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC). In 2009, she was the recipient of The Florida Society of Association Executive Rising Star Award.
